R Forwards Package Development course

The R Forwards 1 day course modularlised into 1 hour sessions to be held over 4 days in R package development and includes connecting to GitHub.

  • find and explore their own package library/libraries
  • describe the key components of a package
  • describe the different states a package can be in
  • outline the development of a package using devtools

Prerequisites

Some experience of coding in R. It will also help to have previously installed and loaded packages. Some experience of using Git and particularly GitHub is helpful but not essential.
